The 40 footer Home
This is the largest transportable non-expanding 40FT container cabin possible. We use a 40ft shipping container which is 11.8m x 2.3m
it can be transported on a single truck, dropped onsite and balconies lowered. This is one of the reasons our shipping container cabins are ideal for rural living, particularly where trades are hard to get and usually expensive.
If you enjoy having friends and family over, the drop-down decks are perfect for barbecues and the cabin can be decked out as a bar. The double glass sliding doors can be left open to create one large multipurpose space or closed for more privacy.
You can choose between a corrugated metal-style container or you can have a cladded finish.

Windows and Doors
- Aluminium double-glazed windows with fly screens.
- Sliding glass and aluminium entry doors and privacy glass bathroom door.
- Side roof and walls: Galvanized frame and paint-protected steel with 50 mm insulation.
- Walls Colour-coded internal corner angles.
- Customised glass, windows and doors – please ask our friendly staff members to quote your custom style.
Floor
- The subfloor is a magnesium concrete composite, an amazing material, light, very strong; water and anti-insect resistant.
- The flooring cover is a thick timber look PVC vinyl.
- Installation by Customer, please ask if we have an installer in your area.
Power & Lighting: Up to Australian Standards
- Light and power cable, switches and power points installed.
- Aircon to be installed by local trades.
- EDB (Electrical Distribution Board) installed and wired for AC.
Kitchen and Bathroom
- KitchenThis container home comes equipped with a ready-to-use kitchen with a stainless steel double sink and overhead cabinets.
- Bathroom A spacious bathroom is also included, with shower.
Setup
- Setup should be done by assisting trades to ensure a quality job is done.
