The 40 Footer

The 40 Footer is a contemporary 40ft container home that brings modern shipping-container design into your backyard. It is delivered on a single truck and set up as a turnkey home, with drop-down decks that fold out on arrival and double glass sliding doors that open the living space out to the deck. Inside, there are 75mm insulated walls and ceiling, a 25mm concrete composite underfloor, aluminium double-glazed windows with fly screens, a full kitchen with stone benchtops and a double-bowl sink, and a full-width shower. Finishes, kitchen and window placements are customisable, and there is an optional panoramic double-glazed glass front if you want to make the most of a view. It works as a granny flat, a weekender, a rural retreat, a studio or home office, or a site office.

The 40ft Expandable Unit

The 40ft Expandable Unit is the largest home in our range. It travels as a compact unit and opens out on site to around 73m2 of floor area, or 78.2m2 in the taller-ceiling version. It comes in 2, 3 and 4 bedroom layouts, including a 3-bedroom option with an ensuite, which makes it suited to family living, multi-generational households, a holiday home, or a larger rental investment.
