Why the trailer matters for council approval in NSW
In NSW, a tiny home built on a trailer that can be registered is treated as a caravan, not a building. That is what allows a tiny home on wheels to sit in the backyard of the house you live in without council approval, as long as the people living in it are part of your household.
Our chassis are built to VSB1 and the ADRs with a VIN plate fitted. When one of our caravan bodies goes on top, the finished home can be complied as a registrable caravan. For the full picture, read What makes a tiny home trailer council-friendly in NSW? or see our council approvals page.
Built for the weight of a finished tiny home
A tiny home is far heavier than a camper, so the axle count goes up with the length: dual or tri axle on our 20ft trailers, tri axle on the 30ft and quad axle on the 40ft. Our 20ft tri axle is rated to a 4,495 kg ATM with 5,400 kg rated leaf springs, and every chassis is built from 150 x 50 x 3.0mm RHS with electric brakes and a breakaway system.
20ft, 30ft and 40ft tiny home trailers
Our tiny home trailers range from $11,000 inc GST for a 20ft dual axle to $20,900 for a 40ft quad axle. If your floor plan needs a different size, tell us, and we'll talk through the trailer it needs.
